The four of us went working yesterday. And all of us reached home at around 12.30am! T.T What can i say? Tired tired tired!! OMG!

We went to be servers for a chinese wedding dinner at Novotel hotel. so troublesome. still need to wear stockings and stuff. thanks vanessa for helping us to buy! ((: and those painful and reddish blisters made us feel so uncomfortable! :(:( The dinner there was yummilicious! ((: too bad we have to eat at a fast pace cos there's not much time left! :(:( ahahhahahaha! too bad lahh wanning, you can't try the kwey tiao there! HAHA! :D We were given a white coat and it look so.. wow! so super formal. and we were also given name tags... fake name tags lahh. LOL and those names were super funny! :]

planning for the wedding dinner. fortunately for us, all four of us were beverages servers. those people serving food must be real tough! =X and those glasses of water were super real heavy! holding the tray of glasses on top of it made my hands shiver like siao. ahhhhh! the wedding hasn't start at this stage yet! omg and my hands are aching like hell. luckily for "Sara" and "Valery", they went to light candles inside the ballroom!! ehhhh!!! not fair!!!!! :( then "Mary" and "Nelly" had to walk around outside the ballroom to serve drinks to those people and its super tiring! :(

finally the wedding started. served drinks to those "customers". okay, orange squashed, 7-up, pepsi, red wine, beer, brandy, hot water, cold water... i almost spilled the whole glass of red wine on a person's back! fortunately i managed to savage the situation ahh!! if not i think i will die terribly. *phew* and i spilled warm chinese tea on a woman's lap. oh no, and she scold me like nobody's business. my mood was destroyed man. i'm like already so tired and you're there complaining. okay fine. made chinese tea for dunno how many countless times in the kitchen. walked to and fro from the ballroom to the kitchen for green chilli, toothpicks and blahh. walked out of the ballroom for tons of times to take those drinks. fortunately, some little little events brightens up my day!

case #1
I was pouring chinese tea to a male customer.

Male customer: Where's your lamp?
Me: Huh? I'm sorry?
Male customer: Because, Mary has a little lamb....

LOL! that was lame but really very funny. i thought what lamp he's referring to.


case #2
I was taking some drink from the table outside. and those un-licensed bartenders were really very funny lah. and there was a guy wearing a black suit was super funny ehh.

There was a time when a customer wants a jug of beer.

Black suit guy: Cannot give one whole jug of beer la. If i give you, then the rest would also want. Just give him a glass full.
Me: I gave him two glasses full of beer and he refused.
Black suit guy: Okay i shall call the police!
Me: ?!!?!??!

okay in the end that ah pek wants brandy, not beer. i'm super sorry cos i dunno what is brandy in chinese and hokkien lah. den i also don't understand what he and his family members/ friends are talking about.

The next time i went out.
Black suit guy: Why do I always see you here? So what drink do you want now?
Me: 7-up.
Black suit guy: Go and take yourself girl, and why do you want it for? Where's your tray?
Me: I want to drink it.
Black suit guy: Oh. Hello Miss 7-up!
Me: .....

I went out again.
Black-suit guy: Hello Miss 7-up! What do you want now?
Me: 7-up!
*picks up a glass of iced 7-up and started drinking*

lol. want to joke, joke together lo! :D


the 8 courses of wedding dinner finally ended at around 11pm plus. started clearing the tables and stuff. okay lah. we're almost like cleaners like that lo. signed out at around 11.30pm. and thanks wanning's mother for fetching us home! we wait for her at the bus-stop and started to massage each other's shoulders. an ang moh past by and saw us and started requesting for a massage. and gracia claimed that one massage worth S$50! LOL! then he stared at us and said no thanks and went off, smiling at the same time. hahaha. so cute! :D
