okay finally i shall blog about the trip. :D i try to be as brief as much, and let the pictures do the talking. (:







Day 2, 30 November



Breakfast was yum and there's cereal there. (: spot mrs teng and ms au. :D




Kayaking through the natural environment was really great. the scenery there is fantastic! :D quiet, beautiful and woosh.

some capsized due to the rapids, like nic and ianson. -.- and we took a group photo! :D





we went to the bridge and the top of the river and man, it's so cool! :D




and that's ms ng, climbing up a rope! she's so strong, like wonderwoman! :D



After kayaking, we went to Semengoh Orang Utan Centre. those orang utans there are big! :D and a pity that it rained heavily after that, can't really observe their feeding time.











Day 3, 1 December



We checked out of the hotel went to Bako National Park. stayed over there for one night. Boat ride was cool! the feeling of the wind beating across your face is super nice. (:

Mr Tan was teaching us about the rocks and how it formed and the sediments. he's like Mr know-it-all. (: and he teaches geography!

after lunch, we went trekking. and we trekked to the top of the mountain. the scenery was nice! :D and the guys were nice uh, helping the girls every now and then. (: and i had a terrible flu along the trek. ):

At night, we had some night activity. we walked through the pitch darkness with the help of torchlights. and we saw fireflies! :D

Day 4, 2 December

We had conservation work in the morning. and each of us planting our own tree! and that tree would be named after us. cooool! :D

and crazy ianson says i make a good farmer -.- my area is super muddy! 14, 14, 14, must rmb. and i pray hard that cuthbert won't destroy my baby plant! *cross fingers*


We headed back to Kuching - our hotel. and on the way we stopped at a house to have our lunch there.


At night, we went to Sarakraf, some arts and craft centre. we had a talk by some guest speaker.

Day 5, 3 December

Checked out of the hotel yet again, and our trip is to the longhouse! staying over there for 2 nights. Mr Tan bought 10 durians for us! how nice! (: We travelled to the longhouse with long boats and the journey was looooong, 2.5 hours!

At night, we went over to the longhouse to play games with the iban kids over there. they were adorable! :D we had movie screening after that and the kids enjoyed it! (:










Day 6, 4 December


We had trekking in the morning! and we were divided into 4 groups. we headed to the waterfall after that. freaking fun! and the water is freezing cold! -.- and i'm so dumb, i hit a rock which is underwater and now i've got a big blue-black on my thigh. till now still not gone yet. -.-






We had BBQ lunch after that. and gosh, it was the best lunch i've ever eaten. :DDDD







We had cultural exchange at night in the longhouse again. we drank rice wine. it taste kind of bitter. they performed their iban dance and it was fabulous! we performed our college dance. and it was freaking fun dancing with ironman - Janice! :D and i've got a problem of turning. -.-both of us were too high. (: after that they performed their iban line dance. the dance seems easy but not easy. -.- and we had movie screening again! :D








Day 7, 5 December

We left the longhouse to head back to Kuching. awww, i miss the kids. ):

We had Eco-tourism seminar in the evening. me and nic were rushing the video for the past 6 days. omg, last minute work was crazy. -.- but, we managed to complete it. although some photos were repeated and not orientated.









We packed up and headed for lunch. We went shopping at two wet markets and finally the shopping mall. it's called the Springs.









After shopping, we headed to the Kuching airport. flight at 9pm.








I miss the trip to Sarawak! ): looking at the photos really bring back memories. it's really great to be in publicity. :D reflections every night really helps to reflect upon ourselves. seriously, i don't regret going to Sarawak.


and i agree to what Ms Au and pakcik pork said, what most important are the friends and teachers that you've encountered, not the distance, destination or time period.


thanks so much to Ms Au for everything that you've done. i'm glad that i've managed to tell you all those stuff before i do not had a chance anymore. it was really embarrassing tearing infront of the publicity team.
